Kane & Lynch, butch Cassidy and the sundance kid… the Dudley Boyz, a dynamic duo contains two individuals who push one another to their absolute best. The same can be said for KayFaraway & Romderful, who have teamed up once again to produce the surprise short EP ‘Long Story Short …’.
In it, a trio of tracks, packed with hard hitting melodic compositions, curtesy of Romderful, partnered with the witty wordplay & carefully crafted penmanship of KayFarAway. Their collaboration has always been a recipe for a unique sound, with a rejuvenated energy. This dates back to some of there early releases such as; ‘SoReal?’, ‘LiKE’ & ‘SummerTimeTing’.
Kay effortlessly glides through each song with his smooth yet direct flow which noticeably cuts through the instrumentation, highlighting his lyrical ability whilst simultaneously complimenting Rom’s (Romderful) hallucinogenic tones. Their marriage in skill and ability has produced, once again, a great body of work which exhumes what should be the standard in not only hip hop but in music as a whole.
