After captivating audiences at Glastonbury in June and performing a special headline show at Somerset House, East London artist Hak Baker introduces a new era with his EP, 'Nostalgia Death Act I.' This release follows his critically acclaimed full-length album, 'Worlds End FM,' from last year, which vividly chronicled a world on the verge of destruction, set to a backdrop of sound system and punk anthems.

The compelling new EP, 'Nostalgia Death Act I,' presents a touching exploration of human existence. It depicts a journey of envisioning unknown futures while letting go of past selves. The final track of the EP ‘Poems’ highlights Hak’s mission of conveying the liberating feeling of venturing into the unfamiliar, unraveling life's complexities and emotions, and transforming them into profoundly resonant verses.

The campaign shined with lead single 'LUVLY', a lively, upbeat track that delves into how a lack of self-love hinders one's ability to connect with others. Hak Baker describes it as ‘the story of young fragmented people all around the country'.

Expanding on the track, Hak explains,

"Love is 'LUVLY.' It's what we all desire and what makes the world go round. However, for some, it's just not accessible. Like WiFi in a tunnel, it's simply out of reach."

Hak's evocative tales of inner-city London life are infused with poetic lyricism, spanning the spectrum between male vulnerability and adolescent cynicism. Hak's fanbase of misfits and renegades celebrates his anti-genre G-Folk sound.
